A comparison page loses credibility when every row says your product is better.

Buyers know that choices involve trade-offs. A simpler tool may be easier to adopt. A more configurable one may suit a team with specialist support. Keeping the current process may be reasonable when switching costs exceed the immediate benefit.

Helping someone recognize those differences is useful marketing.

It also forces you to be clearer about your own positioning. You need to explain the situation in which your product is a strong fit, with evidence behind the claims.

ChatGPT can help structure the comparison, but give it verified information about the alternatives. Product details and pricing change, and an unsupported competitor claim can weaken the whole page.

Try this prompt:

Help me draft a buyer-focused comparison of [our product] and [alternatives, including the current approach where relevant].

Audience and buying situation: [details]
Verified sources with dates: [attach or link]
Approved facts about our product: [attach]

Choose comparison criteria that matter to this buyer's decision. For each, explain the practical trade-off and cite the supporting source.

Show who each option may suit, where information is missing and what a buyer should confirm. Do not make every criterion favor us or invent competitor limitations.

End with a useful next step based on fit, not a universal claim that everyone should choose us.

Review the page with someone close to customer conversations. Check whether it answers the questions buyers actually ask and whether the differences are fair.

A good comparison helps the right customer choose with more confidence. That is a stronger foundation than a page designed only to look persuasive.

Happy prompting!
