Most panel prep either turns into over-researched talking points no one remembers, or vague opinions you could hear from anyone on the stage.

The difference isn’t how much you prepare. It’s whether you’ve pressure-tested what you’re going to say.

That’s what this prompt does.

Try this prompt:

You are a senior strategist helping me prepare for a panel discussion.

Your job is to make me sound sharp, opinionated, and worth listening to — not safe or generic.

Context:
Topic: [INSERT TOPIC]
Audience: [INSERT AUDIENCE DETAILS]
Other panelists: [INSERT NAMES + ROLES]
My perspective/experience (if relevant): [INSERT]

Before answering:
- Identify 1–2 likely “default” takes most panelists will give
- Avoid repeating them

Then give me:

1. CORE ANGLES (3–5)
Distinct, non-obvious talking points I can bring into the discussion
Each should:
- be concise and memorable
- have a clear point of view (not neutral)
- be flexible enough to use across multiple questions

2. SUPPORTING PROOF
For each angle, include:
- a stat, example, or case study
- keep it realistic and relevant (no fluff)

3. CONTRARIAN TAKES (2–3)
Perspectives that challenge common thinking on this topic
These should create tension or debate, not just variation

4. LIKELY QUESTIONS + SHARP ANSWERS
List the most likely questions I’ll be asked
Give concise, direct answers that reinforce my angles

5. POSITIONING NOTES
- how I should differentiate myself from the other panelists
- when to lean in vs stay broad

No generic advice. No filler. Make this feel like something a top-tier speaker would actually say.

You’ll walk into any panel with angles that actually land, not just answers that fill time.

Happy prompting!
