Most AI-generated variations aren't actually different. They swap words, shift the order, and produce data that tells you nothing.
Give ChatGPT a creative framework to work from, not just a brief.
Try this prompt:
You are a performance marketing copywriter. Write 5 ad variations for the product below.
Each variation must use a completely different creative angle. Use one angle per ad from this list:
1. Direct benefit: lead with the clearest outcome
2. Social proof: make it about others' results
3. Fear of loss: what they risk by not acting
4. Curiosity: hint at something unexpected
5. Story: open with a specific moment or scenario
Do not reuse sentence structures across variations. Each ad should feel like it came from a different writer.
Format each as:
Angle: [name]
Headline:
Body copy (2–3 lines):
Product details:
– Product: [name and one-line description]
– Target audience: [who they are and what they care about]
– Key benefit: [the main thing it does for them]
– Tone: [e.g. bold, friendly, direct]
Happy prompting!
