Somewhere in your audience, there's a group you've never named.

Maybe it's people who buy your project management tool the week after a disastrous team meeting. Or new dads who found your newsletter during a 3am feed and never left.

They don't share an age or a job title. They share a moment.

And because your marketing was never written for that moment, it's probably missing them.

The clues are already sitting in your reviews, survey answers, and support emails. ChatGPT can dig them out in minutes.

You'll probably laugh at a few of the segments it finds. Then you'll realise one of them is a whole campaign.

Try this prompt:

You are a consumer insights strategist. Using the audience data below, find 8 to 10 unexpected micro-segments within my audience.

Rules:
- Do not segment by age, gender, job title, income, or location
- Group people by shared behaviour, motivation, situation, or problem
- The more surprising and specific, the better

For each segment, give me:
1. A memorable name
2. What unites them
3. The moment they need [your product/service]
4. Words or phrases they'd use to describe their problem
5. One specific content or offer idea built for them

Finish by flagging the 2 segments most likely to be underserved by competitors.

My business: [what you sell and who it's for]
Audience data: [paste reviews, survey answers, support emails, or comments]

Happy prompting!

A CRM so smart, it updates itself.

HubSpot's CRM is so smart, it now updates itself. Calls get logged and summarized the moment they end. New leads get researched and a first outreach drafted, automatically. Deals move forward on their own, with next steps flagged before you have to ask.

Even the one repetitive task you've been meaning to fix can now run itself, no code required. Customers using it are already seeing the difference.

This isn't the CRM you have to work hard to figure out. It's the one already working before you log in.

When your support agent gets it wrong, who's accountable?

Every agent handling refunds, account changes, or tickets needs three answers: what it can pick up, what it's allowed to do, and when it hands back. Running Agents in Customer Work is four conversations on agentic AI in customer ops. Register now, four Tuesdays, 10 a.m. PT.
